Gatekeepers, treasurers, officers, judges, managers…men of great ability were set aside for service to the Lord. 1 Chronicles 26
The body of Christ is a whole, an entirety. Fingers, eyes, a brain, a pancreas (whatever it does) and yes, even two little piggy toes that go to market. It takes all parts of the body of Christ to see it function efficiently and healthily. Praise God for the parts of the body of Christ that cannot be easily seen. The servants of Christ that are behind the scenes, laboring away unnoticed, to see the light of Christ brought forth into a dark world. Not everybody can be the Pastor and stand on stage every Sunday, serve wherever God calls you and don’t worry about the recognition. That my fellow brother or sister in Christ…that will come later. It will come when you are ushered into the presence of Jesus in Heaven.
