Feliz Sabado! Who's ready for Day 13 5MC? This morning I'm reminded that we serve a God of miracles. They come flying fast and often this morning & I read them sometimes as if it's no big deal. This morning Jesus fed 5,000 men. Now notice here in Matt 14:21 it says "besides women & children." I have to think most men were married with kids and there were also probably single women & then some couples probably have several kids. The total number was probably close to 15,000!! That's a lot of food...and there were even leftovers! I also love in this miracle that the first thing Jesus did was tell the disciples to give them something to eat. Jesus doesn't always just do everything for us, where is the growth in that? And let’s back up a little further, the first thing He did for the crowd was "heal their sick." Can you imagine Jesus healing every sickness & affliction in a crowd of over 15,000 people? Wow! Then Jesus walked on the water & healed the sick in Gennasares. We serve a God of miracles & He's still doing it today, you just have to look.
