Good morning guys & gals! Some reflections from day 2 of the 5MC...wow...God's Word is very specific...names, places, times, fulfilment of prophecy etc...God misses NO details in His Word!...(John ate locusts & honey?? mmmm!)....Jesus was Baptized by John showing the importance....Jesus was tempted very specifically by the devil in the wilderness...satan knows exactly how to tempt us! And how did Jesus combat? With the Word of God! May God bless your 5MC this morn & please share your take aways with the group!
I found this Bible Reading plan quite by mistake, and I don't believe in mistakes, I believe In God's will! So I started out reading in Mathew, and I am on day 2, One thing that really stood out for me in Jesus's genealogy up to his birth, everything is 14 generations. Mathew 1:17. Can anybody tell me why this is? God's plan is very exact, what the prophets said comes as God had promised. He always does what he says he is going to do, or whatever happens is what He said will happen.
