Rise & shine it's day 23 of the 5MC. I can't believe I've only got one chapter left in Matthew! We have been through a slow methodical study of the 1st gospel in only 24 days! The power of persistence! I encourage you all today to consider finding an "accountability partner" for the continuation of your 5MC. Marge & I learned the power of this while we were leading the Dave Ramsey FPU class. The chance for success increases greatly when 2 people are yoked together for a common goal. Find yourselves a fellow believer that you have a great relationship with & you can encourage & help each other with the accountability of spending 5 min in God's Word each day. It's a beautiful thing to behold & it's also God's model as we look at how the disciples were sent out 'two by two' (Mark 6:7) On our own we are a much easier target for Satan but 2 strong believers can be a powerful force. My prayer is that you all will continue the 5MC when Marge & I leave next Monday & you can all love each other with accountability. Blessings!
