Rise & shine for Jesus beloved! I'm sitting here all alone in the cafe tired in the body but refreshed in the Spirit as the last full day of camp crests. God is good & He is here & it is a true blessing to watch Him speak to these students. As I heard 400 voices sing in unison last night with tears in my eyes…oh how He loves us! For Day 27 of 5MC I read through Mark 4-35:40 where Jesus calms the storm. What a truly touching hope giving message for us this morning. As the storm rages Jesus is asleep, the picture of perfect peace as He rests in the comfort & protection of the Father. The disciples wake Him & say don't you even care that we're all gonna die? Jesus awakes, rebukes the storm & then delivers a line that always chills me...”have you still no faith?” At this point how many miracles & healings have they seen? I'm so guilty of this as well. I serve the creator of everything and yet in my weak moments I still continue to doubt His capability to calm the storms of my life. Trust Him to calm your storms, He is more than capable. Keep your eyes on Jesus.
