Take aways from this day 3 of the 5MC...1st... before you start reading are you praying for the Holy Spirit to bless your comprehension & application of God's Word? Try it...you'll be amazed....verse 5:18 is a "life verse" for me...if you're full of the H.S. your light will shine brightly & you will have a burning passion to work for Him. Day 3 from Linda...The last 3 verses really answered some questions for me, silly things, like is it the Holy Spirit or the Holy Ghost? 3:11 says Jesus will baptize John with the Holy Ghost. And Jesus told John that he must baptize him by water first to fulfill what the prophets were told by God. Matthew 3:16-17 speaks of the sky opening and the Spirit of God descended like a dove and landing on Jesus, and God stating he is well pleased with his son.
