Day 7 5MC...Happy Sunday! Today is the day the Lord hath made, let's rejoice in it! In my reading this morn I came across the verse we prayed almost daily for the 2 years we were on mission in Hawaii. Matt 9:37-38 "then he said to His disciples, the harvest is plentiful but the laborers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." What does Jesus mean by laborers? Is this verse really for preachers, pastors, deacons, missionaries & all those other "church people?" What is the definition of labor.? Work, especially hard physical work. Jesus is calling us to get busy & work hard for Him. That means sweeping, mopping, emptying trash, painting, mowing, trimming, cleaning & on & on. I used to ask my youth in Maui, when was the last time you sweated for Jesus? Lets get busy for Jesus, labor is not what other people do but what WE do...love you guys...hope to see you all this morning to worship & praise our risen Lord & Savior Jesus Christ!
